First time trying Belle Soie and I absolutely love it. The color is fabulous and the feel of the silk is amazing. Will definitely incorporate this into more of my projects.

This was the called for silk thread in a design I am currently stitching. The designer notes said to be strategic with how you stitch with this because it is very variegated and that’s why she chose it. I was disappointed that the skeins I received were virtually one solid colour. I know there is variation in each dye batch with hand dyed fibres but at least they should be close to what they are supposed to be. The thread itself is good quality and service from 123stitch is outstanding. The low mark is for no variegation in a thread that is supposed to be very variegated. Do a search online to see what it’s supposed to look like. That’s not what I got. I’m grateful I only needed 2 skeins. I’ll use any left overs for designs that call for a solid red. It would be great in Christmas designs.

My first experience with Belle Soie Silk thread and it will not be my last. Lovely silk, easy to work with, a rich presence when done. They are wonderful to feel in your hand. A delightful new find for me. Thank you.

Beautiful, just beautiful! But for the average jane like me......too expensive. I splurged though and I'm glad I did. The cost is the only thing not to love about this thread.
