This is a great little tool to have for your embroidery setup. I clipped it onto my stand and it holds my pattern paper right where I can see it. It even held up a paperback embroidery book. Very handy!

This Graph Gripper is amazing. So useful. Clips easily to my Q-Snap frames, it’s flexible and lightweight. I bought two so I can use them on a wider pattern without having to fold it. A must have in my opinion. A really good buy.

Breaks very easy because it’s plastic. Should be made out of something that won’t break.

I have no idea how I have done without this. I've been pinning copies of my charts to the side of my lap stand with tacks. Now instead of looking to the side, I just glance up. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. And 123Stitch has the lowest price for everything I need.

I often stitch using a roller frame. I like to place these on the top roller bar. I heard someone on Flosstube suggest getting two so you can place them together and they will hold a whole graph. But I have found out that I like to have one on the left side that has a copy of the symbols and thread numbers and on the right side that has a copy of the part of the chart that I am stitching at that time…I either cut up a chart…or fold it. I also found out that I like to make my working copy on card stock so it doesn’t flop. I place a rectangle of white felt on my roller bars for the graph gripper to make contact with…for two reasons 1) gives a tighter grip and 2) so the grips don't come in contact with the linen and/or the stitches that I have already stitched. I like the chart right there in front of me. I can see it over my Dazor magnifying lamp that I am looking through while stitching…I just have to glance up to see what my next stitch is and where it should be placed. The ball joints make it easy to adjust to just the right angle.

I find this invaluable. While it won't hold a full paper page upright, if you fold the page in half or in quarters it holds it just fine.

I have a large pattern that I've folded into notebook size 8.5" x 11" and I bought two Graph Gripper Pattern Holders to clip along the bottom of the long side and then clip to my lap stand. It's perfect! I can bend the arms however I need to and move the clips however I need to to adjust my view. One thing to note - I had clipped to my actual fabric like shown in the picture below but I felt like it was leaving a mark and I didn't want to mess with my linen so I have it clipped to the wooden frame itself and I just twisted the arm around so I can view the pattern. Works great!!

It's not strong enough to hold my patterns but it does hold my color chart when it's a smaller project with few colors. It bends much too easily and is kind of floppy. I really don't recommend it for the price. I would need at three of these across the top of my frame to hold my pattern and color chart in place but because the swivels are so loose I'm not willing to pay $15 for them.
