from United States on 03/05/2018 - Lots of fun The colors in this sampler are much brighter saturated than the photo shows. For example, in the photo, the deer almost blend into the background, when in real life the old hickory overdyed thread in the deer is a beautiful, saturated brown. The colors blend beautifully and give this sampler a nice rustic look. The pattern is divided over several pages with indicators as to where the pattern overlaps, so its easy to read. If stitching over two threads with two strands of floss, you will need 3-4 skeins of the piney woods, at least 2 of the mulberry, and maybe 2 each of the other colors to be safe.
