I am planning to cross stitch Keys To The Kingdom by Karen Kluba on Ale Belfast linen. These beads were called for by the pattern for black keys. The beads are very elegant and should make an interesting contrast as the linen is very dark and rustic.

Beads are excellent quality with less than 2-5% being defects and unusable. I know color can be hard to tell from online so I wanted to note that these are not silver looking like the 'Old Gold' gold beads look gold. Meaning they are not glass beads with a metallic coating. They are a sorta mid tone smokey gray color with a silver inner lining. Certainly enough to call them silver, but I wouldn't say they have a metallic silver look to them.

I've only started stitching with beads, I read only good reviews for Mill Hill beads and I have to agree with them. I have had no problem stitching with these beads.

I have always loved using Mill Hill beads... these are definitely some of the best I've yet to use for cross stitch! Would Recommend nymo thread with these!
