I needed a blue fabric that I could use for a sky background and this fits the bill. The mottling of the hand dye has shades of blue are from light to light/medium which will be perfect for the sky. It is also helpful to have the DMC equivalents for the fabrics to help select. The 800, I feel represents the mid range; there are some lighter areas and some darker areas on this fabric.

This exact color of Cashel Linen was difficult to find, so I was very pleased with the product and I'm anxious to finish my project.

The fabric is fine might have chosen more color contrast but it works well with the design chosen. I should have measured a second time, as I had to crop the design to fit it for my purposes into the size fabric I authorized all's well that ends well and this will be perfect!
