from United States on 05/19/2015 - LOVE! LOVE!! LOVE!!! The Ancient Aiden fabric is filled with verigation. It has more of a light gold tone with clouds of darker goldish brown color. It is definately not overly dark in shading and will work beautifully for those who want to stitch something with an antique-looking flair. The fabric itself is soft and very comfortable to stitch on. I've used this exact fabric twice now and have never been disappointed. The colors will compliment all DMC threads and it looks great with the Weeks Dye Works I'm using now! I used this fabric to stitch the Susan Rambo Sampler and it looks amazing hanging on my wall. You absolutely can't go wrong with this fabric.

A wash-removable grid makes this fabric perfect for large projects. Once you've finished stitching, soak your fabric in warm water for about an hour and the grid will wash away.
