This was suggested by 123.com. I was making Bible bookmarks and needed a gold edge to the white crosses. I did the inside of the bookmark with 12-strand DMC B5200. With that think it looks just like yarn. And I used the ribbon to edge. Then attached a tassel and gold self-adhesive foam for the backing.

This is a great company! I recently ordered a pattern and the thread that went with it. When the thread came without the pattern I immediately went to the computer and reordered another copy of the pattern thinking I had just failed to order it the first time. I then proceeded to clear my inbox of various emails and lo and behold I found a notice from this company that said my pattern would be shipping later than the thread. I immediately wrote to them to cancel the order for the second pattern. I was surprised when they responded back with affirmation. I've been smiling since. I will continue to use this company for all my stitching needs.

Bought a piece of fabric and asked that they cut the fabric to the size I wanted. Waited for 10 days for it to ship which was an unusually long time to wait for an in-stock item. I called asking what was the hold up and was told the cutting was holding it up. I said just ship the fabric “as is” and I will cut it.
They did ship it next day with the cut done. Terrible cutting job; very uneven cut and no surging was done. I assumed that all cross stitch shops do a professional cut and surge on fabric they sell. Guess I was wrong.

I’ve been purchasing cross stitch supplies from 123Stitch for many YEARS!!! It is my ‘go to’ supply company for fabrics, patterns, Q-Snaps, etc. Their customer service is outstanding if there is a question or concern; very helpful - they have gone out of their way to help me by giving me requested advice as to certain fabric colors, optional colors, etc. This company has a huge supply of different fabrics and provides customers with newer fabrics on the market. What is REALLY helpful is they provide a DMC floss color equivalent for fabric’s color
(located in the fabric’s ‘info’ insert where you choose the fabric size and price) that takes the guesswork out of what color the fabric really is and not have to depend on a computer monitor that can skewer the colors.
Excellent shipping rates, excellent packaging of merchandise.

But waiting over 5 weeks for it to reach Sydney, Australia was less impressive - nearly a month to get from Texas to Chicago & then to the west coast of USA. Next time I will be prepared for the timelapse between purchase & arrival of the goods.

I just started a project series that requires using Classic Colorworks thread and discovered 123Stitch.com when searching online for a source to purchase from. The pattern provides the DMC conversion colors but, having never used Classic Colorworks thread before, I wanted to give them a try. And I’m sure glad I did because I am loving the colors.
I have placed 3 orders so far (I’m ordering thread as I go along) from 123Stitch.com and have not been disappointed. So far the materials that I need have been in stock and I get my order within a week which is great because by the time I receive it I have just finished up on the previous project and can start right away on the next project. Once I’m in the x-stitching zone I like to keep the momentum going. So not having to wait for materials to arrive really helps keep me focused to get my projects done.

I ordered 2 sets of adorable cross stitch baby announcements with frames for my twin grandchildren. Due to poor packaging, one of the frames arrived broken. 123 stitch did not remedy the problem but instead referred me to the company which assembled the kit in Moldova. That company did not respond to my request for a replacement frame. I feel 123 stitch should have exchanged my broken frame kit for a new one. I expressed my disappointment with no resolution. Since this was to be presented as a pair for twins, I could not use either frame and has to purchase frames locally. I spent sixty dollars, could have spent twenty for just the embroidery without the frames. Don’t waste your money on the kits.

Once I found 123stitch, it became my go to for all things related to cross stitch. They have pretty much everything I need from charts to fabric to floss and most of it discounted a bit. My order normally comes in 3-5 days, is packaged well and if there is an issue (which there usually is not), customer service is a quick phone call away and resolves the issue. I love the feature that you can get an email when something is back in stock. I used to be the kind of person who needed to see the floss and fabric before I bought it, but getting up a stash of stuff makes it easy to do that right from my own sewing room. LOVE YOU GUYS!

I called and left a message and I emailed to see how to straighten out the order. I received an email telling me that it was correctly sent as ordered. I did not have the opportunity to speak with a customer service representative. At a recent retreat I told another person about my experience and she had the same issue with one of the same patterns. So I looked on their website and decided to order one, I also order a couple of other items. Their website is user friendly. I received my complete order within a couple of days. They kept me notified of my order status from the minute I submitted my order. I will definitely purchase from them again.

I’m home bound and because of this ordering stitching items are costly due to shipping and high balances for free shipping. Thank goodness for 123stitch! I can order what I want when I need it instead of waiting until I have enough in my cart or sometimes I just don’t order at all. I always order from 123stitch bc I know the prices are great. The shipping is very reasonable. And they have unique items with an easy to navigate website. If I can’t find it then I can call and get a staff person, not a call center. Please start stocking wool!

I have been a customer for years, and I am never disappointed. Super-speedy and acknowledging, packaging, and shipping. I can place an order on Monday and get it Thursday!!! Granted, they’re in TX and I’m in CA, but still! That’s so wonderful! I love they have an OOS system so if they don’t have it now, they’ll email you when it’s in. And they do it!

I prefer to shop online antime I decide I need a thread. I love the real time inventory. I have ordered from other online retailers and they take the order but fail to notify you that an item is backorderd and then oops, it will take 4 weeks. My order was shipped but looking at the tracking it seems it may have gotten lost or returned. Unfortunately it took awhile for my order to arrive, but seeing the second shipment go out it really didn’t take that long after that. Perhaps a hiccup for my first order and hopefully the last hiccup. But I have no bad feelings towards 123stitch.com. They can’t control the postal service!
