Stitching with silk is an awesome experience and my personnel first choice. Nothing wrong with cotton, but there is that special glow of silk that just cannot be substituted with other threads. Au Ver A Soie is very nice with which to stitch at an affordable price. It is my go to silk and used on simple projects, as well as, more intense projects.
