Clara's Garden folk embroidery kit features an ornate border reminiscent of embroidery designs influenced by Venetian textiles in the mid-1700s and worked throughout the Cyclades, a group of Greek islands in the Aegean sea. Tulips, cornflowers, and carnations are combined with scrolling leaves and grounded by a geometric border. Reimagined in a cheerful palette of coral, alizarin, soft yellow, and green with turquoise accents, this makes a lovely heirloom.

Kit includes: 30ct 100% European linen in Vanilla, DMC 100% cotton embroidery floss, John James size 24 needle, full color charts and instructions.

Please note: the drawn thread hem finishing shown in the photos has to be done after the design is stitched; the fabric in your kit will come with the raw edges serged so they don't unravel while you are stitching.
