I’m working my way through a trio of related projects that all use quite a bit of black. I’ve been thinking about buying a cone of it for a while so I wouldn’t have to keep ordering skeins. Listen, this is a giant cone of DMC 310. Not the biggest, but she's still hefty. There really isn't anything to be disappointed about it. It's DMC and it's black. I use it a lot. Whats not to love? Not having to fuss over dye lots for a long time is going to be a blessing, and when I can afford it I'm buying the mega cone of doom. If you like DMC floss, the colour black, and not having to match dye lots on individual skeins, this is the cone for you!

I have been going through 310 like crazy the past few years. I finally got smart and bought a cone. It works out to $.04 a yard and I have enough black to work on several projects at once without worrying about color matching and thickness.
