Soft black with a tiny bit of shading to it. Very nice to work with and has a wonderful lay on the fabric. Covers nicely. I'll definitely be working my next project with this thread.One suggestion if you could do a chart with color equivalents to DMC that would be great!

Since I was working a Halloween pattern I was expecting more of a saturated black and this was more of a dark charcoal. Still, it's a lovely thread to work with and I have other patterns that this will be perfect for!
