We're back to the early French blues. Sacre Bleu, sacred blue or holy blue has been the the classic color of France since the 15th century. Religion and politics both have claimed this color to be the color of courage.
This collection of blues is inspired by our summers in France and dyeing our antique white linen scraps into a beautiful shade of Woad blue.
Our latest fabric features three of our favorite blues: French Blue, Woad Blue and Indigo.
We've also woven in a bit of Ciel Bleu for a subtle play of colors. Try adding some of our new French Ginghams to the mix and you have the perfect start to a French country quilt!
