This is my second Glendon Place project. I'm finishing Sir Thomas right now, and it is definitely worth the time to stitch something so beautiful. I'm stitching this on Lakeside Linens periwinkle linen to make the orange flowers pop, and it's really pretty. The chart calls for beads and silk flosses, but you can easily convert to DMC floss or overdyed cottons if you don't want something quite so ornate or expensive. If you elect to stitch on a higher threadcount, the beads might not work, so please consider that when planning your project. This isn't a project you can complete in a week or two, but your patience will be rewarded!
