The Kreinik Needle is a Tapestry needle with a unique hard coating derived from Titanium. It is more durable than normal tapestry needles due to this unique coating which resists tarnishing and rust. The result is less hand fatigue and smoother stitching. This coating and special eye are designed to make stitching with metallics easier. The needles are gold in color (Note: color variations can occur with Titanium finishes). Two needles per vial. Comes on spools or cards.

Work great for Aida cloth or linen cross stitching. I have tried many different needles and this one is the stand out.

Easy to thread eyes and they go through the holes of my aida very smoothly! Really liking how they feel on my fingers...as someone with a nickel allergy, the titanium plating feels very good!

These needle slide through aida cloth like buttah. And the eyes are nicely finished inside so they don't shred the floss. Big improvement over the DMC needles I got at Joann. Be warned, however, that the needles don't last more than 10-15 hours of stitching time. The head of the needle (where the eye is) will bend, and then break off. But in the meantime, these needles are a pleasure to use, and have even discernibly improved my stitch quality.
