This is my fifth angel in the Lavender & Lace series. When it is complete I will have one for each of my five grand-daughters - but I intend to keep & enjoy them for a while. I am doing this on Aida cloth as my eyes (at age 80) get too strained trying to work on linen. I am using "parchment" and it is going to be just right.

Our son died in infancy and I am unable to decide whether this design in his memory would be best to remember him, or if I should use her design called ""Angel of Mercy II". It is a gorgeous and I want friends and family to see him as a baby carried to Heaven. Her "Angel of Mercy" which shows an angel leading a child to Heaven would be in memory of our other son who did not die as a baby. Still not sure if I want angels robes to match or not. This looks difficult.

I obviously love her designs. They are not for a novice cross stitcher and it takes dedication to complete one, but their beauty makes it well worth the effort. This particular design has such a variety of colors I could not resist choosing it as my next angel. Dealing with 123 Stitch was a real pleasure. They were knowledgable and extremely helpful. My order was shipped in a very timely manner.
