This leather thimble with elastic on one side is perfect for hand sewing. The thimble molds or adjusts itself to my finger so I can use it on any finger, either hand. It’s pretty tight when I first get it, but I stretch it a bit by sliding it over something. I prefer it to be a bit tight to start with because like leather shoes, it will stretch. The only problem is that after five or ten years the leather wears through and I have to get a new one 😂
I’m so grateful that 123stitch has reasonable shipping prices. I would prefer not to buy everything from that large online stores that Carrie’s everything you could possibly want. This feels like supporting a local merchant even though it’s in a different state

It is the best one I have ever tried, and I have tried several, it will bend with your finger, and is snug on your finger without being constricting. I love this thimble!!!! Try it and you will see what I mean!!

This leather thimble is too stiff and I have trouble using it so I have stopped. I believe something thinner and more pliable would work better.
