I am using these for mill hill kits but the holes are a little too small for some bigger amounts of floss so I have to use hole puncher to make them a bit bigger. Most of the threads in mill hill are not a big amount so the small holes work for them. I wish the holes were bigger otherwise it is okay.

I like this card as I can reuse it several times, I love having my thread sorted and ready for the needle when I get some steam up on a project. Saves me time and later I can refresh my memory if I lose the pattern and want to repeat it, colors all there with the 's and brand I add this info as I often share patterns and thread

Whether I am working with a kit with six colors or 40, I always use these cards. There is enough space next to each hole to draw the symbol, write the color name, and even put the number of strands used next to each hole. On extra-large projects, I number the cards, then write the number of the card next to the symbol on the instruction sheet for a cross-reference. It saves a lot of time searching for the symbol you need. I highly recommend this item!!!

I like using b this, especially to separate out kits floss that is not sorted. I write the symbol next to each hole. It holds up well and stays with the project until it is done.

I have been using these for many years. They are reuseable also. If i forget to use a pencil i use white out or white file labels to write on.
