An icon is a simple graphic image that resembles the object, action or concept it represents. It's a means of communicating information swiftly without words, and which is immediately recognized and universally understood. We'd be lost without them - a smiley face, directional arrows, gender signs on toilet doors. Get that one wrong and you could be in serious trouble.

And then there's trees. What child hasn't, at some stage in their development, drawn a green lollipop on it's stick, or an upwards triangle for a Christmas tree? This is Long Dog's take which was inspired by the organ pipes in Salle Church, Norfolk. Must have been God moving in his mysterious way again.
