Designer: Mill Hill
Manufacturer: Mill Hill
Item: MH16-1625
Type: Cross Stitch Kits
Kit Includes: Beads, charms, perforated paper/pvc, needles, floss, chart, magnet and instructions. Size: 2.75" x 3.25".
While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

The colors are wonderful in all of the different "skulls." So many colors and different designs in the pattern that it makes it really fun to do. I have several of these now and love each one!! Mill Hill Rocks!!!

The Mill Hill beaded kits are wonderful. The picture doesn't do the finished product justice. More than ample floss & beads provided. Directions were very clear & helpful
