This Mill Hill beaded cross stitch kit features a Christmas wreath decorated with shells, starfish and ribbon.
The kit includes beads, JABC button, perforated paper/pvc, floss, needles, chart and instructions. Finished size: 5.21" x 5.21"
While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

I have bought and made many Mill Hill kits. For the first time, I ran out of a floss color. It was 762 and is a common color that I have in my own stash, so it wasn’t a big deal. It is a light color so matching the dye lot wasn’t an issue. That being said, this Seashell Wreath is very pretty!

I loved the picture of this seashell wreath and it certainly did not disappoint me! I finished it this week and it's ready for the green frame. I always purchase the suggested frame with the kit so I have it when it's done. It'll look beautiful with my other Christmas decorations!
