Cross stitch pattern from Modern Folkart Embroidery featuring a pattern originally commemorating the 200th anniversary of the passing of one of England's most popular authors, Jane Austen. Her words on this sampler have recently resonated with a lot of stay-at-home stitchers, and this has been an extremely popular design. "Ah! There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort."

Stitched on 32ct linen, it will approximately measure 12" by 12" (30.5cm x 30.5cm). This chart counts a total of 8431 crosses. It will require approximately 5-6 skeins of Modern Folk Embroidery Wool of 3-4 vards of Retors du Nord embroidery floss by Maison Sajou, or 5-6 skeins of DMC or Anchor floss. The designer left some space above the little village where you could include your initials (and year of finish, if different from 2017). For this design, the creators allow you to pick any fabric and any thread you desire! For your convenience, we have picked the closest color matches to the picture of the design if you prefer the pattern as is. Stitch count is 193w x 193h.
