This was my first time trying silk so I was a bit nervous, but it's very soft and easy to work with. It adds a nice sheen to the project.

I am very pleased, that this Silk is realy colorfast. Even it is a black color. I wanted to stitch a Chatelaine and because it will take a long time and I am sure that it has to be washed during the years of stitching, I made of all Silks a colortesting. The black NPI is one of the first I tried out and I was surprised, but it is realy colorfast. Of course it is a beautiful silk with first class shimmering too!

I was a bit hesitant about using this because of the price but so glad I finally did! This is a lovely silk that didn't knot up once and slides right through my fabric. This silk is so soft and shiny and I will be buying more for future projects in many colors!!!!
