This vintage inspired red alphabet sampler will be a great addition to your collection.

Stitched on 18 count fabric using DMC threads. Stitch count is 117 x 56. Finished size is 3.1 x 6.5 inches

Collected from German, Italian, Scottish, Dutch, English, and American samplers, this book of alphabets takes off from where the previous edition, Alphabets from Early Samplers, ends. The alphabets have been fastidiously reproduced from samplers dating from 1530, to 1868. Over 80 alphabets are charted, as well as two complete alphabet samplers, one of them dating from 1725.

Red Haven #4 - Nelly's Jumbled Alphabet is a reproduction of an antique schoolgirl sampler that came from the collection of Lori Wilson.

It was stitched on 40 count linen by using Schoolhouse Red floss from The Gentle Art. Stitch count: 95w x 71h. Finished size is approx 6 x 4.5.

Model stitched on 40 ct Autumn Gold from Lakeside linen using Gloriana's, Dinky Dyes and Classic Colorworks silks. Shown on an Ackfeld Manufacturing hanger. Stitch Count: 292W x 388H and the finished size is 14.6" x 19.4".
