Reprint of a previously discontinued pattern. A prairie Year was stitched on 18 ct Putty Khaki Davos, using DMC floss. Each Design was centered on a 4 1/2" square with an average finished size of 3" square. Ribbon ties were cut to 8" lengths. Average stitch count 45x45.

from United States on 07/22/2023 You can’t go wrong with Prairie Schooler. I am disappointed that they no longer print their charts on card stock (reason for four stars instead of five). They are now printed on flimsy bond paper, and it has taken away from the quality from older charts which were printed on strong card stock. Their charts are always well written and easy to read.

Also have made these as Christmas tree ornaments. My historical site's general store even sold these for me for a while and they were quite popular. I also love other Prairie Schooler designs.

Great for making greeting cards, dough bowl pillows, and shadow box or tree ornaments. Many motifs would look great stitched on a sweat shirt for a special person or yourself. I'll use this pattern again and again.
from United States on 03/22/2020 - Beware of reprint I was very disappointed in the quality of the print. It was very light, in fact I could hardly see the grid lines of this pattern. Also the fact that it was printed on copy paper instead of card stock for the price was a big disappointment too.
