Note from designer: "To achieve the lace effect you're looking for, I recommend stitching this design on 32ct or 36ct linen in a strong color to bring out the white embroidery, using 2 strands of DMC thread. A single strand of DMC is used for the backstitch, adding a touch of lightness."

The pattern is stitched on your choice of fabric with DMC threads! It's up to you to play and bring life to life a piece that reflects your style! Stitch count is 173 x 173. When stitched on 36 ct. linen the finished size is 9.61" x 9.61".
