Pre-rinse Sampler Threads in hot water before stitching. Blot them on a white paper or terry cloth towel to see if there is any residual surface dye remaining. Repeat this process several times until they rinse clean. The color will not fade. Let the threads dry and then stitch. The finished piece may be gently washed after stitching using these pre-rinsed threads.

These GAST threads are quickly becoming my favorite hand dyed thread!! And this one is such a lovely color! I'm partial to pinks, so when a pattern calls for a pinky color, I'm all over it!! I buy multiples so I can have extra just to look at!

I was deeply disappointed in this thread. I had used the same color/number previously and this is so much different, it is not acceptable in the stitching project. I think it will cause a considerble amount of ripping and re-stitching .
