I have always been extremely happy with Threadworx cotton variegated flosses - very high quality so I thought I'd give their silk 'floss' a try. This silk is just odd. It is NOT stranded silk and cannot be separated so I wouldn't call it floss. It is more like a size 8 pearl cotton. The colours are lovely, though, but I don't have a use for it unfortunately.
