Item: WMN-032
Type: Cross Stitch Patterns
Designer: With My Needle

Note from the designer - A huswif is a folded or rolled case for holding needlework supplies. My design was inspired by old ones, which were typically made from a variety of cotton prints, both on the inside and on the outside. The inside of my huswif is made from five different cotton prints. There are four pockets, three flat and one gathered, and three thread rings. The huswif outside is embroidered using only one color of overdyed cotton thread. Pattern for a small needlecase is also included.

The model was stitched on 32 Ct. Amber linen with Weeks Dye Works floss. Stitches used: backstitch and reversible cross stitch. Stitching directions, stitch diagrams, and detailed assembly instructions are included.
