This sampler has no name on it so I lovlingly, refer to it as the Black Cat sampler. I believe the original was crafted in England. There are two sets of initials on the sampler but I have not been able to determine if they are that of the stitchers.
Wash. Dry. Fold. Repeat. Sound familiar? Not sure how much time you spend in your laundry room... I felt the need to make it a place to enjoy spending time in.

The verse on this sampler is from "O Christmas Tree" a German Christmas song written in 1824 by Ernst Anschutz. This song was based off a 16th century Silesian Folksong by Melchior Franck called Ach Tannenbaum. Third in the series of samplers with lots of fun stitches.
