Step back into the mid-19 century with this sampler, originally stitched on stitched in 1847 with wool on canvas.
Pattern is stitched on the fabric of your choice using Au Ver A Soie threads. Stitch count is 179 x 174. Finished size on 16/32 Ct. is 11.19" x 10.88".
Ann Jefferson stitched her sampler at the age of 10. A sweet marking sampler with alphabets and sweet strawberries and pots of flowers in bold colors. The stitch count is 129 wide by 137 high and is stitched mostly in cross stitch with one band of 16-leg eyelets. This sampler can be stitched on linen or aida. Finished size on 32 Ct is 8.06" x 8.56".
Madeleine stitched her little sampler in 1904. This model is stitched on a Zweigart linen 40ct color 323, with Soie 1003 Au Ver Soie, Conversion in Soie d'Alger and DMC is included in the booklet. Stitch count is 244 x 253.
Chart recommends 32 count linen and DMC floss, but you can stitch on any fabric of your choice! Stitch count is 630 x 390. Fabric size needed 45 inches x 31 inches. Finished size is 39.38 in wide X 24.38 in high.
