I was a little unsure of the color. I thought it might be darker than I needed, but the color was just perfect for my project. It is getting harder and harder to find cross stitch fabric where I live and now I have found a source.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Lugana fabric. It was the exact size I needed so I don't have to waste any of the fabric. I LOVE how the edges are stitched to prevent unraveling - that's a blessing to not have to worry about it coming unraveled or having to tape the edges myself! There is no way this matches or even comes close to DMC 842. Very close to DMC 613, a light khaki. I truly believe I was sent the wrong color, but will use it for another project. This is the first time I was ever disappointed in a piece of fabric or any other product from 123Stitch. I love the way they finish the edges for you but what good is the wrong color? I have gone to a different seller for this particular color that does match DMC 842. Wish I could include a photo.....

I have been buying this same material for years from 123Stitch to make heirloom Christmas stockings. I have always been satisfied with it as it came with a finishing stitch around the edges to deter any fraying. I am a cross stitcher but not a sewer, so having the edges pre done is awesome. The most recent piece of fabric I got did not have any finishing stitch on the edge. I had to tape it which is really annoying. The tape keeps coming off and the material is fraying. I hope that this was just an oversight on my piece of fabric and not that the material pieces will no longer have the stitching done to them. I have been so happy with 123Stitch in the past.
