from United States on 12/27/2015 - Great Design My mother read to me every night, chasing away the dark with James Whitcomb Riley or bringing it back with Edgar Allen Poe. This is a great memory of Poe, who I recently learned did not die of either his opiate use or alcoholism, but of rabies from one of the many wild animals he cared for, including this famous raven and foxes. His stories always gave me goose bumps.
