100% linen. A beautiful hand dyed and washable fabric available in a variety of counts and colors. Lakeside linens are available in both "Regular" and "Vintage". The Regular version has minimal shading while the Vintage is more distressed. With the Vintage version there may be color separation due to the different properties of each dye used. As each piece of vintage is unique, the image should only be considered representative of what you will receive.

Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. Fabric dyers consider this normal and expected, particularly in vintage or antiqued fabrics, so please feel free to call us if selecting an exact shade is critical to your project.

This fabric is very supple, with a smooth hand. It is woven pretty tightly, meaning that I may have trouble "seeing the holes" when I begin stitching with it. There is a nice amount of natural, random-looking distress. The color, a nice strong medium gray, does indeed look like some kinds of weathered cedar, so the name is pretty accurate. It arrive nicely pressed and neatly serged. I really like this linen.

Love the color of this fabric. It's kind of a beige brown. I've purchased this in the 28 count for the patten I'm stitching but hope it also come in 32 Belfast which is my favorite count.
