This Mill Hill Pin kit includes: Beads, treasures, perforated paper/pvc, pin back, floss, needles, chart and instructions. Finished size: 2.5" x 2.5".
While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

I made another one with a cream background on white paper and picked out my own beads but I like the black one better. I like how once you buy the patterns, there are probably enough beads and floss to make a second one.

It's so cute and I know she is going to love it. I've been doing quite a few of the beaded cross stitch kits. Love that they come with absolutely everything you need to complete the item. Instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Keep offering high quality products like this. Love it.
