Nurge Spring embroidery hoops keep needlework projects taut and smooth. The hoop has two parts- a plastic ring and a metal ring that flexes and can be fitted into the groove on the plastic ring. Super easy to use, spring tension hoops eliminate the need to tighten screws, but can be quite firm as they need to keep the fabric taut. . Lay your fabric over the outer hoop, give the inner hoop a squeeze and gently set it inside the inner hoop.
The spring hoop can be used for hand embroidery or machine embroidery as the slender design makes it easier to place the ring under the freehand foot of the machine.

from United States on 09/19/2024 - Turkish hoop I absolutely love these Turkish hoops for my cross stitching projects. I will never use anything else. They are so easy to use and pull the fabric tight. With the other kind of hoops they always made my fingers sore trying to get them tight enough but with these I don't have that problem. It's also quick and easy to adjust them. I have them in different sizes, a must have. I highly recommend these.

It’s well worth the slight increase in price to my local big box store because the quality is so much better!!! It feels like it holds my fabrics so well but not overly so to potentially damage the fabric or stitches! This is a must have an I plan to buy a few more for my stash!!!

I tried with a cotton fabric with a fold and it was able to make the fabric all straight as it has been ironed. An it also sustain the tension. I truly recommend! :)

It took a bit to figure out the best way to get the tension hoop in but I got it! The only problem I foresee is something my hands are sore/weak, and it would be difficult to put this together in those cases. You need a fair bit of force to squeeze the handles.
