Hand Dyed Aida from Picture This Plus. This color is a light "old" gold with gray smudges.

Picture This Plus says: "Measurements are pre-dyeing. They do shrink a bit in the dyeing process - especially the Luganas."

This picture provides a small glimpse of one piece of hand-dyed fabric. While Picture This Plus tries their very best to achieve the same color from dye lot to dye lot, please be aware that all hand-dyed fabrics have some differences in their variegation and patterns.

The Ancient Aiden fabric is filled with verigation. It has more of a light gold tone with clouds of darker goldish brown color. It is definately not overly dark in shading and will work beautifully for those who want to stitch something with an antique-looking flair. The fabric itself is soft and very comfortable to stitch on. I've used this exact fabric twice now and have never been disappointed. The colors will compliment all DMC threads and it looks great with the Weeks Dye Works I'm using now! I used this fabric to stitch the Susan Rambo Sampler and it looks amazing hanging on my wall. You absolutely can't go wrong with this fabric.
