I love the Q-Snap products. I cross stitch a lot of different sizes and with the Q-Snap you can make any size you want with the add on pieces.

I love the size I ordered, 11 x 17 It is perfect for my larger projects and still enables me to hold it comfortably. I also love the fact that q-snap does not leave any marks on the fabric like hoops do. It makes it very easy to press out the finished product.

Long time embroiderers will hate this review... I'm a new cross stitcher, only been doing it since about September. The first project I ever did was when I was 12 and liked it a lot but it just never happened. A few months ago l I noticed a co worker doing it on her break and so it started. My first two projects were using wooden hoop frames but I was hoping I could find something more sturdy to put my large hands on I'm 6 ft tall and have found I often have my hands to be bigger than others in my height range. For my third project I got super ambitious and got a 11"x7" project. I bought the 10" wooden hoop and upon using it the very first time I could tell would make more work and frustration. After calling 123Stitch I ended up ordering this and don't regret it a second. It's kept my Aida fabric taunt a whole lot longer than a hoop. I still have to "retaunt" every now and then but it's easy to do. I went back for a moment on the wood hoop for my current project and immediately I went back. Not only does it hold tension better not I like the way it feels in my large hands and now I can steady it on me while sritching. I will eventually get all the other sizes for sure. Note I've seen a lot or complain about taking the clamps off. I just take the edge off the fabric underneath the clamp and pull it up and it just pops out. Sometimes I have to pull the fabric taunt to make it long of bounce off but much better than hurting your fingers. When the clips are on the bare frame, I just slide them off and then clamp on my coth as usual.

from United States on 09/25/2019 - Just the right size.
I own three Qsnaps. An 8x8, 11x11 and now the 11x17. The 11x17 is lightweight and just the right size for most projects. I am really impressed with how taut it holds the fabric and how lightweight it is. Highly recommended.

Love Qsnaps. It's the only thing I use.

Love this frame, easy to assemble and sturdy. Great product for cross stitching!

from United States on 06/19/2018 - Q-snap Not perfect, but has its place
I have almost every kind of cross stitch frame known to woman, and so far none of them is totally 100% perfect. American Dream, Hardwicke Manor hoops, Q-Snaps, and others I can't remember. I haven't tried the kind you use thumb tacks with, I'll be honest. It seems as though no matter what, fabric is ultimately going to slip, the frame will wear out and loosen, the knobs will strip out, the screws will pop out of the hoop and get lost, knobs will have to be replaced, new hoops will have to be purchased, blah blah blah. Q snaps are the latest thing I've tried, and I thought I had at last discovered perfection. Alas, even Q-snaps wear out. Those nice, impossibly tight clamps DO wear out, and you will need to buy replacement clamps, eventually. Still, Q-snaps DO have their place in my world. When they work, they work well, they really hold that darn fabric TIGHT. When it comes time to remove them, you WILL break a nail, I guarantee it. As the clamps loosen over time, your poor fingernails will grow back. You can always replace the clamps, thankfully they are fairly inexpensive. Or you can fold paper towel and stick it inside the clamp to take up the slack, which will delay your having to buy new clamps. In spite of all that, I use my Q-snaps. I currently have a small project going in one and it's going well, even though I have to go to the paper towel method and retighten it now and them as I am stitching. They are fairly inexpensive, very lightweight, portable, and they work in my old American Dream/Ergo/Gazelle floor stand, and lap stand. I haven't used the largest Q-snap, 11x17, in my wooden stands so I don't know if the wooden clamp on the stand could be adequately tightened without crushing the Q-snap. The 6x6 and 8x8 are easily supported on my stands.

from United States on 04/22/2018 - Lovin the Q Snaps
I cross stitch. I like using the Q Snaps because they do hold the fabric taught. I still use the wooden rolling frame for xtra large projects. Overall these are the best.

I love my Q-snap! It has greatly improved my speed and accuracy.

Is it just me, or is it incredibly hard to take the frame apart with Aida fabric on it??I have a smaller 8x8 ,it's the same way.Suggestions?

from United States on 10/30/2017 - Love Q-Snaps
Have used Q-Snaps for years and still love them for using to hold my material when cross stitching. Have a variety of sizes to create the size I need for a project. I use the actual Q-Snaps, not the generic ones I have seen from some craft stores which don't hold the fabric tight.

from United States on 10/21/2017 - Love it!
Square/rectangular shape makes for larger area to stitch without having to move it, and the rounded edges area easier on stitches you've already done. Great idea. I will say that the 11 x 17 size is a bit cumbersome though, and the next size down is probably easier to hold/manage.

Very pleased with this product. I have always been very pleased with products and service from 123 Stitch.

from United States on 06/06/2016 - Q-Snap
I just purchased these and am using them for the first time. They are easier to use than hoops as you get a larger stitching area. I will be ordering some others sizes.

from United States on 04/19/2016 - Awesome frame
I can't wait to start using this frame on a huge project!!

from United States on 04/05/2016 - Glad I Switched to QSnaps
Like the different sizes and extension kits. Holds the fabric more securely and tight than my plastic hoops. Also with the addition of the Grime Guard can tuck the extra fabric out of your way. I am new to using them so it took a little while to get use to them.

from United States on 01/11/2016 - Qsnap 11 x 17
I bought the 11 x 17 qsnap in hopes of adding three more inches to at least 11 inch side which did not happen because it already has a spacer on it I was that would be possible when I spoke to the person on the phone when I ordered it and they said that it would would be nice to have a Q stop that would make up larger than 11 x 17 .

from United States on 12/24/2015 - I love the Q Snap
I wasn't sure if I would like this item, but I really do!! I'm also glad for the variety of sizes it comes in. I like not having to handle my fabric more than necessary and this is perfect for that. Since I've just had my a short while, I can't vouch for the durability, but I have a feeling I won't be disappointed.

Love every size of my q-snap frames,I have them all I would buy these over and over again. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, them.

from United States on 07/13/2015 - Good price, fast shipping
this is a somewhat hard to find size. Price was right and shipping was fast. Love this convenient service!

from United States on 02/28/2015 - Best I have found
I have tried a lot of hoops, holders, etc. for cross stitching and until I used the Snap Frame, I have not found one that I liked. This tightly holds the entire project area open for sewing and no there is need to move the material around so you can sew in areas that are not included in the hoop. I have bought this in three different sizes, along with the handy material cover ups which keep your sewing project clean and new looking until finished. I would definitely buy this product again and would recommend to friends and family to buy also.

from United States on 01/30/2015 - Pretty good
I tried these once before and couldn't get the hang of it, but I needed another frame so I thought I'd try it again. I don't like small frames that I have to move around and this was the perfect size. It hurt to hold up on my own after a while but then I got a lap frame and that helps a ton. It holds the fabric nice and tight which is great. I like my handi clamps better, but this isn't a bad option.

Love love this item!!!! works great for cross stitch. Easy to use and holds fabric in place! One of the girls at 123 Stitch told me about it and i'm am so happy!

from United States on 10/31/2014 - It is Love!
I've used just about everything, but these really are working for me. Better tension than a hoop and scroll frame and much easier to use. I immediately bought the 3 inch extensions for my larger projects and already have plans to order another sized set in the near future.

from United States on 05/18/2014 - better than a hoop
I was hesitant to try q snaps. After starting a project too big for scroll frames, and disliking hoops, I bought this item. I love it. My fabric stays taught. I can hold it, or it fits on my floor stand. I like that I have the option to purchase extenders. I also like not having to fight to get my fabric on the snaps like I do with the school bars. I am so glad I decided to give q snaps a try.

Wonderful size! Many of my projects are close to this size. I like to be able to stretch out my canvas or material rather than having to reset my material for littler areas.
