Weeks Dye Works hand dyed, 100% linen fabric and is great for a variety of cross-stitch and embroidery projects. Original base used and not Zweigart. Not colorfast.
Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. I was disappointed with this linen. It is very thin( I can easily see my hand right through it as well as every thread. ) and has a very open weave. I usually use size 28 needle for 36 ct. linen but had to size up to 26. The 28 just fell through the weave. It has a very soft feel. The color is nice…a light cream with a barely noticeable hint of pink. I like Weeks Dye Works threads but not sure I will buy their linen again.
