Catherine Annie Jupp 1877 is a reproduction of a 19th century cross stitch sampler from the private collection of Whilst Iris Naps Designs. Catherine was from South West England where she lived through 2 World Wars, was twice widowed, raised her family and played a role raising her grandchildren as well.
The stitch count is 100 x 90 and our model is stitched using 1 strand floss over 2 linen threads on 40ct 'Antique Lace' by Seraphim Fabrics. We have used Weeks Dye Works threads for our reproduction but we also include DMC conversions. The design area on 40ct fabric measures approximately 5 x 4 1/2 inches (12.7 x 11.4 cm).
