I was so disappointed when I could not find the fabric used in a pattern I purchased but suggested the Welchet piece. It is simply the perfect piece in color, sturdiness, and ease to stitch on linen.

The color is pretty well represented in the picture, except of course the photo online has some dark shadows under each thread. Sort of a sea foam green. But the fabric is exactly what I expected and I'm happy with it. This type of linen is a little see-through and the color is light, but when you finish it against a solid neutral color you will not be able to see trailing threads.

Just love the color of this fabric and like to use it for my nautical designs. It's also nice to stitch on.

Would have given this 5 stars if not for the fact that when it came it was so stiff I couldn't get it to bend enough to work with. Gave it a quick soak, ironed it and it now has great body. Color is great and pretty true to the picture. Love this site. Could spend a day and lots of money just "window shopping".
