What is more precious then being a child and enjoying a stroll on the beach in this counted cross stitch design. Clutching their favorite possessions, a young boy and girl take a stroll along the sandy shore. This tender scene is stitched on 14 count ivory Aida with cotton thread. Half cross stitch is used to create depth and subtle shading. Kit contains cotton thread, 14 count ivory Aida, thread palette, needle, and easy instructions. Finished Size: 9" x 12" (23 x 30 cm) -- Designer: Christa Kieffer.

I had just finished a very difficult cross stitch picture that had taken me many months. The Holding Hands kit has been a welcome relief. I like the way the colors are already sorted for you and the larger weave makes it easier to stitch. I just wasn't sure about cutting the color sections apart and wrapping the thread around each one. Currently I have the two sections hanging over the arm of my couch where I sit to stitch.
