Kit includes beads, JABC buttons, Perforated paper, needles, floss, a chart, and instructions. Finish size is 5" x 5". To achieve the model look, you will need to purchase the kit MH18-7102 to stitch the small glass that is attached to the frame.
While we still have kits in stock with Perforated Paper, newer Mill Hill kits are now being made with Perforated PVC. We were skeptical at first, but here's what our testing has revealed so far:
1. Perforated PVC looks and feels nearly identical to perforated paper, and nothing like plastic canvas. It's sturdy and easy to hold, and is slightly harder to bend.
2. Our needle and thread glide just as smoothly through the new PVC as they do through paper, and finished stitches on both materials look nearly identical.
3. The new PVC is some sturdy stuff. It's much harder to tear than the paper, so you can pull your threads as tight as you want without having to worry about deforming holes or ripping. We also expect the PVC to be more resistant to decay and yellowing.
All in all, while (like many in the community) we were originally hesitant about this change, our first impressions have been very positive.

Like its companion piece, so much fun to stitch, love the colors and the attention to detail. Both pieces make you feel like you are in the heart of Tuscany. The coordinating frame is the perfect accompaniment. Had already stitched the wine glass "charm" and added it to the frame as well. Perfect. Both pieces look great hanging on my wall.
from United States on 03/30/2019 - Mill Hill Vino Rosso This is a great kit, like all Mill Hill's kits. However, I was disappointed in the fact that the charm at the bottom right corner is not part of the kit. It was one of the reasons I bought the kit.
